- Excavation with side clearance 20-30 cm (50 cm in heavy soils) and 15-20 cm bed of 20/30 mm washed gravel.
- Fill with water and backfill with 20/30 mm washed gravel in 15-20 cm layers.
- Final cover with non-clayey topsoil (30-40 cm) leaving inspections accessible.
- Venting: open vent + biogas vent connection to suitable elevation (pipe not included).
- Surface loads: heavy sumps/holes on dedicated slab on load-bearing soil.
MAINTENANCE
- Periodic checks on float and pump; keep inspection point accessible.
