Pico sol lifting station 230 lt. - 0.55 kw pump

PICO SOL SOL326 is a sewage lifting station with one-piece linear high-density polyethylene (LLDPE) burying tank. It is complete with PVC inlet pipe with N.B.R. rubber gasket and polyethylene outlet pipe. The single submersible electric pump is equipped with float switch for automatic start/stop.

INSTALLATION (OPERATING DIRECTIONS)

• Excavation: flat bottom and clearance around the tank of 20/30 cm; in heavy soils (clay and/or surface water table) at least 50 cm. Make the excavation at least 1 m from any construction.
• Laying bed: washed gravel 20/30 mm thickness 15/20 cm. Prohibited to use excavated material as backfill.
• Backfill/filling: lay the empty construction, gradually fill with water and backfill with 20/30 mm washed gravel in 15/20 cm layers. Fill to 3/4 of capacity; cover the last 40 cm with non-clay/loamy plant soil. Do not use material with sharp edges.
• Laying area: walkable area; vehicle transit prohibited up to 2 m from the excavation.
• Upstream best practices: even with backward impeller, a primary sedimentation system or grating should be provided to retain nonshreddable bodies (rags, plastics, etc.).
• Vent connection: always provide an open-top vent to avoid depression and deformation; connect a pipe (PVC/PP/PE) to the biogas vent arrangement and take it to the highest point of the building or along downspouts, however above the height of the cover (pipe not included).
• Manholes/pits > 50 kg: lay integral with sized concrete slab; slab should not rest on tank but on undisturbed load-bearing soil.

MAINTENANCE

• Schedule periodic maintenance: clean liquid inlet (and metal filter if present), check impeller wear, check electrical cable, handle and fasteners.

RECOMMENDED ACCESSORIES

• Primary sedimentation system (e.g., biological tank) or upstream screening, depending on the type of effluent.
• Biogas vent piping (PVC/PP/PE) up to suitable height (not included).
• Possible PE extension pipe for inspection, if required by the underground elevation (if provided by design).
