The PICO SOL SOL502P2 is a single-block underground sewage lifting station configured with a double submersible electric pump and float control. It is suitable for pumping untreated civil sewage to deliveries located at a higher elevation; the double pump allows it to cope with high and variable flow rates and ensures the presence of a backup pump.

INSTALLATION (OPERATING DIRECTIONS)

• Carry out excavation and preparations in accordance with the manufacturer's method of undergrounding and the designer's instructions.
• Make a stable bedding (e.g., suitable washed gravel) and proceed with controlled backfilling and backfilling.
• During backfilling, keep the tank progressively filled with water to stabilize thrusts.
• Check the expected load class (pedestrian/other) and arrange for possible slab or partition sump if heavy manholes are planned.
• Provide adequate open venting and, if dedicated plant is present, connection to biogas line according to rules of art.

MAINTENANCE

• Under normal use, periodic (typically annual) inspection of the system is recommended.
• Clean the liquid inlet of sludge and debris (and the metal filter if present).
• Check the wear condition of the impeller.
• Check electrical cable, handle and fasteners.

RECOMMENDED ACCESSORIES

• Upstream system for primary sedimentation (e.g., biological tank) or grating to retain nonshreddable bodies (rags, plastics, etc.).
