INSTALLATION (OPERATING DIRECTIONS)
- Excavation with flat bottom and clear space 20-30 cm around the tank (50 cm in heavy soils/gravel).
- Bed of washed gravel 20/30 mm (15-20 cm). Forbidden to backfill with excavated material.
- Gradually fill with water and backfill with washed gravel in 15-20 cm layers.
- Final cover 30-40 cm with non-clay vegetable soil, leaving inspection plugs accessible.
- Venting: provide open vent and connect biogas vent to higher elevation of cover (piping not included).
- Manholes/pits > 50 kg: concrete slab on load-bearing soil, not on tank.
MAINTENANCE
- Periodic checks on float, pump and connections, keeping inspection accessible.
