It is possible to use the pump to decant any kind of clean liquid in common use, which must not be chemically aggressive or abrasive. Some examples: water, wine, milk, vinegar, low-viscosity oily solutions, fluid neutral detergents, diesel fuel. The viscosity of the liquid must be no greater than 4 cps for continuous service with free delivery, and no greater than 20 cps for intermittent service with free delivery and an operator present for supervision.
