"G" series gear pumps have been developed for transferring all commonly used nonaggressive viscous liquids whose viscosity at 40°C is contained between 1st Engler (example: water, diesel oil. Intermittent service only to avoid overheating) and 7th Engler (engine oil SAE 30 or transmission oil SAE 80, continuous service). Liquids must be clean, with no suspended matter. They are suitable for transferring water, wine, olive oil, milk or diesel oil, synthetic oil, mineral oil.

Gear pumps can suck up liquid up to a maximum of 2 meters difference in level without being charged; if the difference in level is greater, it will be sufficient to place a check valve at the end of the suction pipe and fill the latter up to the pump. To increase the suction capacity pour about 10 ml of the liquid to be siphoned into the pump. In any case, it is always important to bring the pump closer to the container of the liquid to be decanted. If the pump runs dry for more than 10 seconds there is a risk of damaging it. Never run the pump without the hose connectors. Always connect the supplied strainer to the suction hose before starting the pump. Gear pumps can be used with the dispensing gun only in conjunction with safety valve part number 920035 All models can operate in continuous service at a maximum pressure of 2 bar (0.2 MPa).
