5700 liters polyethylene tank | underground

The Rototec 5700-liter underground corrugated tank is a one-piece tank made of high-density linear polyethylene (LLDPE), obtained by rotational molding. It is designed to be buried underground and intended for storage of potable water, storm water and compatible food liquids. Due to its corrugated structure and seamless construction, it offers high resistance to soil stress, long service life and complete absence of corrosion.

Installation

Installation must follow the official Rototec "Methods of Interruption." The main directions include:

1. Excavation with flat bottom and 15-20 cm bed of washed gravel (20/30 mm).
2. Laying of empty tank, progressive filling with water and simultaneous backfilling with washed gravel.
3. Backfill by layers of 15-20 cm to 3/4 of the volume, then cover with topsoil.
4. If pump or pumping facilities are present, provide adequately sized open vent.
5. Use extension PP77 if necessary to adjust the burying height.

Warnings

• Product intended forinterruption only - do not use outdoors.
• Do not install near heat sources or in undrained clay/silt soils.
• Use flexible piping for plumbing connections.
• Avoid light seepage to prevent algae growth.
• For stormwater, install a leaf filter sump upstream of the tank.

Maintenance

The tank is supplied unwashed. Before use, wash the inside with water and neutral detergent (or HACCP), rinse thoroughly and repeat cleaning periodically to maintain hygiene and quality of contents.

Warranty
