Plasson uno - compact push-in fittings for polyethylene pipe

The innovative line of UNO Series fittings, created by PLASSON, is characterized by ease of use, fast assembly speed with anti-unthreading quick coupling, instantaneous sealing, and small size to accommodate installation in tight spaces and to limit storage space.

PERFORMANCES

Hydraulic seal independent of mechanical seal, Hydraulic seal guaranteed under any operating condition (pressure tests of more than 40bar)

Double seaming ring, the joint becomes the strength of the mesh

PLUS

1) Push-it, easy, fast: A single movement to instantly achieve hydraulic and mechanical seal without the use of any tooling.

2) Separate mechanical seal hydraulic seal: guaranteed by the O-ring positioned in its seat and thus independent of the mechanical seal.

3) Permanent progressive mechanical seal: The two seaming rings inside the fitting allow a progressive mechanical seal as pressure increases.

4) Oversized O-rings: The 50% larger cross-section compared to other mechanical fittings ensures excellent hydraulic sealing, especially with ovalized or damaged pipes.

5) Compactness and design: Reduced dimensions to keep space on site and storage space small. Extremely durable and aesthetically accurate design

6) Plastic material: Insensitive to stray currents and corrosion when buried, unlike traditional metal fittings

8) Difficult to tamper with: The specific PLASSON wrench is required to disassemble it, but it can be reassembled and reused without additional parts.

Resistant to pressure stress: Test B - 100,000 cycles, in pulsation, between 0 and 25 bar at a frequency of 25 cycles/minute

Thread strength: Test C - Screwing to failure (minimum required 80 Nm): 177 Nm
