EPDM grade E (Green stripe)

Working temperature from -34C up to +110C. Recommended for conveying water, dilute acids, alkaline solutions, dolio-free air and various chemical applications (see Gasket Table for details). NOT SUITABLE FOR USE IN PETROLEUM OR HYDROCARBON APPLICATIONS.

DESCRIPTION Rigid Joint 8400/8400S specifically designed to provide a rigid, self-blocking joint to allow the installation of linear piping that does not require expansion, contraction and flexibility. Lin easy and quick installation of the housings, which enclose the gasket, ensures a perfect seal against internal piping pressure. Rigid Joint 8400/8400S allows the same fastening methods to be used as in welded or threaded systems, complying with the requirements of NFPA-13. SHELL: Spheroidal cast iron conforming to ASTM A-536, Grade 65-45-12

HEXAGONAL BOLTS AND NUTS: Hot-treated carbon steel, electrolytically galvanized, oval collar, self-locking head, with proprietmechanical according to ISO 898-1 Class 8.8. Bolts and hex nuts are electrolytically galvanized, with subsequent yellow chromate coating.

FINISH Anti-rust paint Color: Red (standard) Hot dip galvanizing - (optional)
