Flat body resilient wedge gate valves are shut-off devices designed for the isolation of pipelines conveying potable or raw water. This category includes gate valves of the Series 14 – F4, supplied complete with handwheel for manual operation.

Thanks to the short face-to-face length between flanges (Series 14 – EN 558), flat body gate valves are ideal for water networks, civil and industrial installations and applications where reduced installation space is required, while maintaining high reliability and robustness.

• Flat body made of ductile iron EN GJS 500-7
• Fully rubber-coated EPDM wedge for bidirectional tightness
• Epoxy coating RAL 5050 ≥ 250 μm (EN 14901)
• Supplied with handwheel in epoxy-coated ductile iron
• Nominal diameters: DN 40 to DN 300
• Pressure rating: PN10 / PN16

MATERIALS AND RELIABILITY

Body and bonnet are made of ductile iron EN GJS 500-7, while the stem is manufactured from stainless steel. All materials in contact with water comply with regulations for potable water applications according to DM 174/2004.

Each valve is individually tested in accordance with EN 1074 and EN 12266, including body strength and tightness tests.
