Oval body resilient wedge gate valves are shut-off devices designed for the isolation of pipelines carrying potable or raw water. This category includes Series 15 – F5 gate valves, supplied complete with handwheel for reliable manual operation.

Thanks to the long face-to-face dimension between flanges (DN + 200 mm), oval body gate valves are particularly suitable for water networks, aqueducts and civil and industrial installations, where mechanical strength, durability and long-term tightness are required.

MATERIALS AND RELIABILITY

Body and bonnet are made of ductile iron EN GJS 500-7, while the stem is manufactured from stainless steel. All materials in contact with water comply with regulations for potable water applications according to DM 174/2004.

Each valve is individually tested in accordance with EN 1074 and EN 12266, including body strength and tightness tests.
